Ever hear that old saying and feel like you can't seem to get ahead? I feel like that is constantly on repeat for us. After working so hard to call in favors for the best roofers in the Western Carolina Mountains to come install our metal roof, this happened. Even with giving extreme notes of caution, and building walk beams to use, the fireplace installers STOOD (and dropped something) on our ridge-line. The ridge is an extremely critical part of your roof and will easily leak if not installed properly. Now to get this "fixed" it is not as simple as place a new piece on top or slide out the old/slide in a new panel. A standing seam metal roof uses a locking system where each piece locks into the other panels and everything around the ridge adhesives together. SMH. Just would really really love one thing to go smooth. "Construction karma, if you can hear me, I think we've had our fair share of bad luck. Can it pleaseeee be someone else's turn? Thank you!"
